Aku Edits (akuedits.com) is an independent fan blog about Akanksha Choudhary. We are not affiliated with Akanksha Choudhary or her representatives. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Newsletter. If you sign up, we collect your email address. Our newsletter is sent through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores your email address for us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Contact form. If you message us from the About page, we receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply to you.
- Comments. If you comment on a post, we store your name, email address, comment, IP address and browser details to help catch spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. To show a profile picture next to your comment, a coded version of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location and your device type. It does not tell us who you are.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for Google Analytics and, if you leave a comment, to remember your details for next time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Embedded content
Posts may include embedded content such as Instagram posts. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other site, and that site may collect data about you.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. It is handled only by the services that run this site: our web host (Hostinger), our newsletter provider (Kit) and Google Analytics.
How long we keep it
Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as we need them to reply. Comments stay on the site along with the details above, unless you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, send us a message through the contact form.
